Botanical Maxims is a creative studio based in Melbourne (Naarm), Australia. We pair historic botanical artworks with inspiring words you’ll want to live with. The result: museum archival-quality art prints, gift-ready objects, and lifestyle pieces designed to enrich everyday routines and encourage people look closer, enjoy beauty, find inspiration, and act with intention.

Our collections feature museum sourced luminous still-life works by European Botanical Masters from the 16th to 19th centuries whose work is in the Public Domain. We honour provenance and credit original artists. Inspired primarily by works from the Dutch Golden Age, we curate and reimagine these masterpieces with a contemporary lens, ensuring their historic beauty remains intact while becoming accessible, meaningful, and relevant to modern life outside of a museum setting.
